I’ll be revealing 5 more herbal thyroid remedies that are used for treating hypothyroidism. This short article is written to raise your awareness of these herbs as there are some reported side effects about them. That’s why it is advisable to seek some medical supervision when taking these.
Here’s the list:
• Black cohosh or Actaea racemosa is a plant from eastern North America. This is used for menstrual problems and infertility. Some say that it may cause liver damage if used over extended periods.
• Kelp and BladderWrack are large seaweeds found under water. They are rich in iodine, mineral and vitamins. It’s used for iodine deficiency.
• St’ John’s Wort or Tipton’s Weed is a plant that can be found in North America, China, Russia, India, Asia and Europe. It’s used for depression. This may cause sun allergy.
• Cayenne pepper or Bird pepper is a red chili pepper and is used for improving blood circulation. But eExcessive intake can cause high blood pressure.
• Ashwagandha root or Indian Ginseng is a plant found in India and is used for stimulating the thyroid. It is considered safe with no proven side effects.
These are herbal medicines that are used by some. But the decision is yours on whether you will use these or not. As always, caution and medical supervision is recommended.

I am always on the look out to find more herbal medicines that I can mix into my daily diet and lifestyle. I would much rather treat my medical problems naturally, rather than to trust a lot of prescription drugs. Some of them can carry some really risky side effects. I am glad I found this site, and I will check back often for new information. Thanks.
Hi

Many yearas ago I got a homeopathic medicine from Zvi the fingernailman – he was well know in his time and many people from all over the world asked for his advice – it was Thyroidea D12 . I have started taking it again, and feel better with it. But here too – ask a homeopath for advice. I have spoken to some homeopaths they did not know this medicine. I haveone homeopathic book which is suggesting Lachesia D12, whch I took for two month and got ischias
I agree Marcus. I prefer to try what nature has given us and steer clear of thyroxine. So far, I have been controlling my underactive thyroid by using herbs and what’s more, they are cheap and easy to get hold of.
can i buy the herbal remedies by post?
